Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.

Have you been asked to become, or are you looking for, a God-parent for Baptism or a Sponsor for Confirmation?
The Church requires two things:

1. The God-parent or Sponsor must be a registered member in a Catholic Church.
What does this mean?
This means that a registration form with your name, or the other person’s name, must be on file at the parish office.

2. The God-parent or Sponsor must be a practicing Catholic.
What does this mean?
This means that you regularly attend our Church every Sunday.  If the other person attends another Church, they must contact their Church to obtain the proper documents.

Once these two requirements are met, please contact our parish office to discuss issuing the proper certificate for the God-parent for Baptism or Sponsor for Confirmation.
