Garage Sale

THANK YOU - THANK YOU

We could not have had a garage sale without the generous donations of new and slightly used items from our parishioners.

So many volunteers donated time and energy into making this a successful event. We always need extra help.

Beginning with our volunteer who dropped off marketing signs a month in advance and the men who set up the tables. These same men came back after the sale to take down the tables. The week started with the women and men cleaning and organizing the display tables and then pricing all the items. We were happy to have the men to climb ladders and do heavy lifting, we could always use more of them! This is a huge job but they did it with a smile. The men and women who accepted the drop-off items did a fabulous job.

The day of the sale went as smooth as a well oiled machine. Our volunteers assisted shoppers in any way they needed. Checkers and cashiers helped customers with their final purchases. The volunteers who worked the collectibles made the area look like a showcase, you can always find a treasure!!!

Once again the food was a bonus. The food was purchased and paid for by a kitchen volunteer. Thank you to the all men kitchen crew who made and sold the food. A special thank you to the Pham Family who made and paid for all the ingredients for their delicious egg rolls. Thanks to all who baked and brought goodies for our coffee breaks.

Thank you to all the volunteers who purchased and paid for the supplies for this sale. The day after the sale 25 volunteers packed up all the leftover items for the Salvation Army to pick up. Even though this is a lot of work it is a great way for our people to join in fellowship. We saw many new faces this year! Thank you Mimi for all your help and Fr. Lamb for your blessing. Most of all thank you to all that came and supported the sale.
